“These emergency LED T8 tubes are fantastic, with some practical trade-offs. The 4000K color temperature matches my non-battery LEDs perfectly, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic consistency. While the brightness does reduce slightly when running on battery, it’s still more than adequate for emergency situations, like lighting up stairwells.

I only added one of these emergency LED T8 lights to one side of the fixture, and it delivered sufficient emergency lighting. I also like that I could add another one to the other side for twice the brightness if needed.

Another feature I appreciated is that one end is line and the other is neutral, which matches the wiring of my other LED T8 lights. This made installation straightforward, and it means I could easily use these in any fixture (as long as constant power is available). It’s also worth noting that the company offers a version of this tube that works with switch power, which is a great option for those needing extra versatility.

Update: I bought even more. Here is a picture of a single bulb in a 4-bulb fixture. You can see that it lights up well, and when on line power, it looks just as bright with the color 4000K identical to the other three non-battery lights.“
